Northfield Trust is a community land trust protecting farmland and walking trails across the northern valley. After fifteen years of word-of-mouth growth, their brand had become a patchwork of homemade logos, mismatched flyers and an outdated website that buried their donation page.
We rebuilt the identity around the idea of open ground: a wide, steady wordmark, a field-line emblem drawn from contour maps, and a palette of moss, chalk and harvest gold. The new website puts upcoming walks, volunteer days and giving front and centre, with a CMS the team now updates themselves.

Every touchpoint borrows from the landscape: contour-line patterns for backgrounds, field-guide style typography for trail maps, and seasonal photography that changes with the year. The result feels calm, credible and unmistakably local.
